Full Stride: Ayala Land Core Residential Business Group Playoffs: Live It Up, Rule the Top

Last August 12 at Treston International College, Ayala Land and Avida traded the usual sales rally for something with a little more movement, competition, and team spirit.

Full Stride: Live It Up, Rule the Top brought together over 400 members of the Core Residential Business Group for a joint sportsfest designed around the same goals that drive their sales organization: motivation, camaraderie, and the pursuit of excellence.

Four major groups came ready to compete: Metro Manila, Corporate North Luzon & TOD, South Luzon Digital & Vismin, and Broker Nation.

The day opened with a Parade of Players, marching into the venue to the beat of drums, followed by opening remarks from Ms. Sara Urriquia, OIC Core RBG Sales. Mr. Paolo Viray, Chief Sales Strategy & Client Experience Officer, then kicked off the Q2 and Mid-Year Awarding.

Top performers were recognized one by one, with each achievement celebrated by the ringing of the bell—a fitting sound for a room full of people accustomed to closing big wins.

One of the day’s biggest moments came when South Luzon Digital & Vismin was awarded the Excellence Cup, Ayala Land’s internal sales and performance recognition for its teams and sales networks. The group rallied at center court, visibly emotional and proud as they celebrated the win together.

Then, it was game on.

Torch lighting and the Oath of Sportsmanship officially opened the competition before the Muse & Escort segment turned up the energy. With some of the industry’s biggest personalities taking center court, it wasn’t hard to see where these sales professionals get the confidence and charm to close million-peso deals.

The non-athletes had their own chance to score points through fun games including Rock-Paper-Scissors on a Hula Hoop Trail and the Caterpillar Balloon Race. They may have been lighthearted events, but with every result contributing to the overall team standings, the competitive spirit was very real.

The Cheerdance Competition took things up another level. These teams don’t just know how to command a negotiation table—they know how to command the dance floor, too, bringing creativity, synchronization, and full-on sales-team energy to every performance.

The final stretch belonged to the core sports: Mixed Volleyball and Basketball. Played in shortened formats, the games lost none of their intensity, with each group displaying skill, teamwork, and plenty of pride on the court.

Throughout the day, event partners Gardenia, Shop N Snap, Leslie’s, Zamst, BPI, UnionBank, BDO, BYD, Generika, and Dr. Stretch added to the experience through product sampling, discounts, vouchers, free trials, raffle prizes, and even complimentary massages.

With more than 400 participants cheering for one another from the opening parade to the final buzzer, Full Stride proved that a sales rally doesn’t always have to happen in a ballroom. Sometimes, the best way to strengthen a team is to get them out of their seats, onto the court, and moving toward one goal together. It was a reminder that the same drive that fuels record sales also fuels great teams. Rested, recharged, and ready, the Core RBG sales force heads into the next stretch stronger, closer, and more united than ever.

Live it up. Rule the top. Full stride ahead.
