One Toyota, One League: Inside The 12th TFS PH Basketball League
For more than a decade, the Toyota Financial Services Philippines Basketball League has served as more than just a competition. It has been a platform where friendships are built, rivalries stay friendly, and relationships between dealerships continue to grow—season after season.

Organized and managed by Kings of the Court PH (KOTC), the 12th Toyota Financial Services Philippines Basketball League focused not just on the idea of competition, but on something more important: maintaining camaraderie, strengthening connections, and keeping the Toyota family united through sport.

One League Across Luzon
This season brought together 31 dealerships from across Luzon, grouped across regions but united by a shared purpose.

From the North, teams from San Jose del Monte, San Fernando, Marilao, Valenzuela, Commonwealth, Fairview, Balintawak–North EDSA, Abad Santos, and Marikina took part.
Metro Manila was represented by Otis, Quezon Avenue, Pasig, Global City, Makati, Cubao, Shaw, Manila Bay, Pasong Tamo, Bicutan–Parañaque, Alabang, Motor Philippines, Financial Services PH A, and Financial Services PH B.
The South fielded teams from Bacoor, Dasmariñas, Silang Cavite, Calamba, Santa Rosa, San Pablo, Batangas City, and Lexus Manila.

Different locations, different uniforms, different histories—but all competing under one banner: One Toyota.

Competition Built on Respect
While competition remained intense, the heart of the league was always connection.
The championship matchup captured this balance perfectly. The 2019 champions, Bacoor, faced the 2024 defending champions, San Fernando, in a finals that showcased both high-level basketball and mutual respect. San Fernando built a double-digit lead, but Bacoor answered with composure and belief, forcing the game into overtime and securing a hard-fought victory.
It was a game defined not just by the score, but by sportsmanship.

Philip Camensi earned Finals MVP honors for his performance on the biggest stage, while James Mangahas was recognized as Season MVP for his consistency and leadership throughout the season.

A League That Feels Like a Gathering
The opening ceremonies reflected exactly what the league has become. All teams proudly marched in wearing their uniforms, well-represented and accompanied by their muses, setting a festive and welcoming tone for the season.

The event was further elevated by the presence of key figures from the basketball community, led by UAAP champion DLSU Green Archers head coach Topex Robinson, alongside standouts Jacob Cortez, Kean Baclaan, Robert Bolick, Adrian Nocum, Andrei Caracut, and others who came to support the league and its participants.
A champion himself, Coach Topex Robinson perfectly captured the spirit that continues to define the league:
“We may be from different dealerships, but we are one Toyota.”
Leadership That Keeps the League Together
The continued success of the league is driven by leadership that believes in sport as a bridge between people.

This season was made possible through the initiative of Mr. Rommel Ocampo, President of Toyota Financial Services Philippines Corporation (TFSPH), and Franco Lim, First Vice President, together with the support of the Toyota Financial Services Philippines community, including Bryne Goopio, Dave Sanchez, BJ Chang, Earl Diaz, Mitch, and friends who continue to champion this annual gathering.
Beyond Wins and Losses
Now in its second post-pandemic season, the Toyota Financial Services Philippines Basketball League stands as proof that what truly sustains the league isn’t just competition—it’s the relationships formed across dealerships, the friendships renewed every game day, and the shared experiences that extend far beyond the court.

As the 12th season comes to a close, one thing remains clear:
the league continues, the bonds remain strong, and the Toyota family moves forward together.
